League Cadet Boot Camp 2012

Buffalo Training Command offers many summer training opportunities; For our younger League Cadets, we offer a rigorous NLCC Basic Orientation and NLCC Advanced Orientation.

For our older Sea Cadets we offer a fantastic Culinary Arts training, New this year we are Adding MAA & Medical Training and again for 2012 is an outstanding POLA training.

The location of the training site is Buffalo Naval Park . We stay and train on the USS Little Rock (CLG-4), USS Croaker (SSK-246) and USS The Sullivans (DD-537).

For 2012 the trainings run from 29 JUL to 04 AUG 2012

NLCC Basic Orientation - provides intense training in military and naval subjects and an introduction to the military atmosphere.

Cadets will live and train aboard the USS The Sullivans, DD-537 Fletcher Class Destroyer, USS Little Rock, CLG-4 Little Rock Class Guided Missile Cruiser and the USS Croaker, SSK-246 Gato Class Submarine (decommissioned)

NLCC Advanced Orientation - provides senior cadets with training in leadership, boat safety, and subjects relevant to prepare cadets for the Sea Cadets.

Culinary Arts - This Culinary Training consist of proper food handling, bread baking and basic pastry. Serving three meals per day, all menu items are made on the premises. Top Chef competition held before graduation day. ALL BILLET
